Heidi Hugie, MA

Heidi Hugie was born and raised in Manti, Utah, within a hardworking family of farmers and ranchers. It was here that she cultivated an early appreciation for dedication and perseverance. Growing up with family members in the medical field ignited her passion for healthcare at a young age.

Her medical career began in dermatology at Swinyer Dermatology, where she acquired valuable experience as a Medical Assistant. Following a move to St. George, she served as a Medical Assistant and back-office manager at Heart of Utah Cardiology. In Morgan, Utah, she broadened her expertise, working as a dialysis technician, then as a Nephrology Medical Assistant, and eventually taking on a management role within a large nephrology clinic. Heidi's professional background also includes teaching phlebotomy, consulting in home health and hospice, and supporting adults with autism and patients in recovery centers. These diverse experiences have provided her with a well-rounded perspective and a deeper sense of compassion for others.

Although she has undertaken various roles, Heidi is most passionate about dermatology and wound care. She is eager to return to this specialty, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to improving the lives of her patients. Outside of her professional endeavors, Heidi cherishes time spent with her family, including her three adult children and three granddaughters. She enjoys outdoor activities such as camping and ATV riding, as well as engaging with her community through activities like playing Bingo with local seniors. Heidi approaches life with enthusiasm and cares deeply for individuals from all walks of life.

She anticipates further developing her expertise in wound care with a company that shares her values and dedication to excellence.
